Nimmo was visibly shaken up/concerned. He and Lugo are good friends from Mets days. After reaching first, Nimmo ran over to the mound right immediately.

It’s very weird to me that we could go all the way to Vegas just to play Baylor and TCU in non-conference games.
Also weird that we might play Creighton twice in the same non-conference schedule.
You have to hand it to the Royals: going on THREE separate six-game losing streaks by the end of May is genuinely impressive. But, of course, not unprecedented (they also did it in 2006).
