The people who enjoy the peace of God that surpasses all understanding are those who in everything by prayer and supplication let their requests be made known to God.
There are times to weep and wail, just there are times to say Amen and move on. Whatever pains the past holds, the future is always God’s storehouse of hope. Increase our faith, O Lord, as we pray, “Thy will be done.”
Be wise, not a fool. Believe in the God of love, truth, and mercy, who chooses you as his beloved child. “Be gracious to me, O LORD! See my affliction from those who hate me, O you who lift me up from the gates of death” (Ps. 9:13).
Pray for your pastor today. He might be struggling because he is fiercely being attacked by the enemy as he prepares to preach and minister to God’s people tomorrow.
And doesn’t realize it.
