Got some more Hay cut Wednesday afternoon with the ole Hesston PT10 Haybine. Put some new Hyd hoses on it and tried it out. Its not pretty but still does a good job.
(The Disc mower cuts quicker )but the haybine is handy when your short on drying time.
Was able to get some Hay baled yesterday . It dried good with this Heat.
It sure was a scorcher ๐ฅตthough. Told a friend my AC went on my tractor Lol ๐
Thank the Lord it all went well and I got it done.
We have a few dry days ahead.I was able to get some hay cut Tuesday night and early in the morning before work. I have seen it thicker but it could be a whole lot worse. Thank the Lord we had some rain ๐ง๏ธ(it was late this spring)but Itโs really helped it.
It may be old but it still grinds (@ArtsWayMfg 325-A)feed or Cow ๐ chow for the livestock.
Does a good job too.
The ole 3020 John deere got a workout too.
Thank the Lord I was able to cut some hay today. Itโs been to Wet the last few weeks to cut any with a few small windows of clear weather.
But We are supposed to have a Hot ๐ฅต dry week here in Western Ky
@dbfarms2023 Awesome
The one my daughter has got , has factory power steering.
But the Ole farmer took the pump off cause it went out.
So Iโm looking for another pump to get it working again.
@dbfarms2023 Itโs not been right here ether in Western Ky To cut hay. I purchased a disc mower caddy and got it hooked up Saturday. Trying to get things ready though when itโs go time.
Looking at the extended forecast it might be June till we lay some hay down.
@MachineryPete Must be a Ky thing.
I have always called it Banana pudding.
We have it a lot at dinners and Church Socials.
Of course Iโm not going to turn a plate down ๐
