Ant Middleton tweeted, "Well done all in Southampton!"
Meanwhile, this is what the locals had to put up with.
She felt terrified and unsafe and had never felt unsafe in her own home before.
A British national living in Southampton had her car and property damaged. She said,
“I’ve never felt so unsafe in my house.”
She did not feel unsafe because of Sikhs, Muslims or migrants but because of other British nationals, a section of whom were far right.
This is the difference this Labour government is making.
Kids starting the day full and ready to learn, no matter their background.
An achievement all Labour MPs can be proud of- and opposed by the Conservatives and Reform.

And I know: “But what about your paintings, Hunter?”
Please.
One of Keir Starmer’s greatest moments in Parliament. He totally met the moment. Some say they don’t know what he stands for, but he’s often the most passionate in these moments when he’s able to showcase how much he cares #PMQs
Henry Nowak’s family have lost their son and brother in the most appalling circumstances.
Nigel Farage is exploiting this tragedy to create grievance and division.
It’s completely unforgivable.
Some new polling on Tony Blair’s intervention last week and how it landed with the public. Labour and Conservative voters were the most likely to say that the Labour Party should pay attention to Blair’s advice.

Actual Nazis mobilising and rioting on the streets of Southampton today.

Adam Boulton, "The family did say that they didn't want Henry Nowak's murder to be exploited politically"
"As the front page of the I paper says, that plea has been ignored, particularly by Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson"

Scenes of objects being thrown at police officers in Southampton are utterly disgraceful. The perpetrators must be brought to justice. This is Britain, not a lawless society.
The scenes this evening in Portswood are completely unacceptable.
The Nowak family made a powerful call to us all yesterday to not let Henry’s death be used to create further division, hatred or tension.
There can be no justification for hijacking this tragedy to stir up violence and disorder. Those responsible can expect to face the full force of the law.
I thank the police who have tonight shown great bravery and calm in the face of disgraceful violence directed at them.
"We want to use Henry’s heartbreaking story to make change for the better. We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension.”
Henry Nowak's family
I’m on my way to Southampton.
Since the start of the Henry Nowak case I’ve watched people focus on everything except the real issue.
A young lad was stabbed, handcuffed while bleeding and treated like the suspect.
Now there’s a growing public backlash and people are asking serious questions about police training, priorities and institutional bias.
Henry could have been your son. He could have been my son.
Let’s see what happens tonight.
