@MartinSLewis Pool both pay together & take out all usual expenses. They come of out one account. We give each other the same account in our own every day spends account and then we put a set amount in a joint account for things like fuel, shopping etc. the rest goes into joint savings

@kelvmackenzie The amount Council workers get in pension contributions is fine, IF they as an individual and the Council as a whole, add value. The problem is the waste in crap services and inefficiencies. The Councils should be more stringent with their workforce. They’re too slow.
