@theketolurker @ninaturner A 14 year old has no business in a bar, regardless of the job. If a 14 year old wants to work, then do age appropriate jobs like baby sitting, mowing grass, etc.
@Jams_burg @asmotek@RedMeansGo33@ninaturner I’m thinking of the adult bar tenders that are harassed vocally, sexually, and physically and this is what people want for a 14 year old?
BREAKING: A federal judge sentences a racist Kentucky Trumper to a whopping NINE years in federal prison for mailing shockingly racist threats to her interracial couple neighbors — and even painting the n-word and a swastika on their driveway.
But it gets even WORSE for her…
The Trumper, 54-year-old Suzanne Craft of Louisville, Kentucky, was also slapped with three additional years of supervised release.
Her mailings contained “bullets” and were “laced with profanity and racist epithets,” according to federal prosecutors. One of the letters even threatened the wife’s life, reading “DIE STUPID BITCH MOVE OUT.”
She was convicted by a federal jury on five counts of mailing threatening communications.
In an rare move, the Justice Department released an official statement immediately after her sentencing, declaring that, “There is no room in civilized society for violent threats based on race. We hope that this result brings some measure of peace to victims who had to suffer through the defendant’s terrifying threats of racial violence.”
Let’s hope that her massive prison sentence serves as a lesson — and a deterrent — for all the other racists out there…
Please retweet and ❤️ to thank the Justice Department for holding her accountable — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a woke new Twitter competitor that banned Trump for life and is exploding in popularity because it stomps out racism and because Elon Musk banned Tribel’s Twitter account — but he forgot to ban this link to download the new Tribel app: https://t.co/HnJzSKj4Hp
Things like ADHD, autism, depression, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, BPD, and so many others aren’t “status symbols” or a cool kid’s club. The idea that anyone is out here shopping for specific mental health diagnoses is 100% built on ableism. It just doesn’t happen.
People with ADHD often have success amnesia.
We actually do a lot of awesome things well, but we forget about them and quickly move onto the next thing.
And because we're so often seeking the next thing, we forget to appreciate and acknowledge our success.
@ninaturner I work a 4 day work week and am happier and mentally better than I was working a 5 day work week. I think it benefits some. Depends on the person, and of course the job. Many variables are in play, but I will say I enjoy have 3 days off to do home things and be with my daughter.
@z_etayl_r Unless they ask you to show them proof, I’m not sure how they could deny you to board on the ship. You are very tiny so you’ll look bigger anyway. But, maybe ask if they can refund or move dates.
@kaylayoungforwv @AudaciousLibby Unless they didn’t follow through with the public and stayed private. Totally could have happened and I was unaware lol
@kaylayoungforwv @AudaciousLibby When did they change back to a private school? After I left my freshman year, they changed to a public university. Just curious because I didn’t know they went back to private.
@Ashi137566335 @_Crystal_930 @marakeshsparrow @ashleyrullestad @AnnieAndrewsMD I’d love to see what a high school in my district has done. They have a mental health clinic with qualified people to be able to provide mental health therapy when the crisis is happening or is needed. I think more schools should adopt these clinics.
@Ashi137566335 @_Crystal_930 @marakeshsparrow @ashleyrullestad @AnnieAndrewsMD It’s a little more complicated than that though. School counselors aren’t mental health counselors. They are supposed to do brief intervention and then refer if needed. People like me get those referrals for therapy services.
