@wwwhiteraven@PlayOverwatch Either Aurora is the Iris. Or Aurora connected to the Iris to spread her sentience through all other omnics. Either way she may have created the Iris, assuming it didn't exist before her sacrifice
@dinishalfguy @PlayOverwatch The Overwatch client seems to be independent from battle net being launched or even logged in. So steam should be able to launch the game without having battle net. Hopefully just having an account is enough.
@0taku_Angel @PlayOverwatch A competitive mode where only pc-console hybrid groups can queue seems like it would be very underpopulated. Causing both ranks to be (more) inaccurate and queue times to be awful.
Maybe I'm underestimating the amount of people who use pc-console crossplay and want to play comp
@AsaTowari@PlayOverwatch COMPLETELY missed the part where it also triggers on damaging enemies. So that's even more insane. Might end up not that bad since her secondary fire is better in 1v1's, and primary fire more for teamfights where she might get focused. But how will this be for lower ranks.
@AsaTowari@PlayOverwatch I read over the 30 shields per second part and thought it's a fair tradeoff. A new breakpoint for secondary fire, in exchange for weaker more utility based turrets. I really dont think she needs extra tankyness while charging off a shield. Regaining ammo was enough pressure.
@DeadbyDaylight The perks might not be super strong. But they are so fun, it hardly matters. Having a blast running knee-high and then falling over a second later cause of the exposed effect.
@DeadbyDaylight I have one concern about trail of torment: The buff is great, and doesn't seem problematic on majority of killers. But currently the yellow aura can often be confused with your own or teammates' generator perks. Maybe a hud icon to show the perk is active to prevent confusion?
@DeadbyDaylight Very interesting changes to Onryo, no immediate concerns either. Finally disabling tv's is better than just letting the Onryo teleport to them
@Ren_Diabolo@OWCavalry A main positive of releasing story missions in batches is that they can always keep making new stuff. Maybe playing from Talon's perspective of the Invasion. Or more flashback missions from Overwatch's golden age. If it's well received in the long term they can keep going.
@Kasgc_Art@OWCavalry Mostly cause people keep asking "Where's PvE?". So they canceled hero missions, to release a smaller scale version earlier. And focused on releasing a batch of story missions because it doesn't matter whether it's the whole thing, while gathering feedback for future releases.
@OphoisSon@OWCavalry I remember in Overwatch 1 players were happy to pay for more archives events when they stopped making new ones. Now people complain when we get them, with better quality, but have to pay for them.
I think 15 bucks is too much for just 3 missions, but that can still change
@aaronkellerOW Almost everything about season 6 is amazing. My only concern is what is going on with the story bundle. Why was only the bundle announced without an option for a seperate purchase. It's raised a bunch of concern. I feel it's necessary to confirm more details about this soon.
@whoizjek @nemebliss@PlayOverwatch in addition: Rammatra was horrible at launch, they had to buff him a lot before he was playable, and he was A-tier at best, not the best tank by far, considering there were multiple S-tier tanks at the time.
I agree free heroes is better, but it's also not that big of a deal.
@whoizjek @nemebliss@PlayOverwatch Everyone was overreacting to heroes in the battle pass. Every other game with unlockable heroes has no complaints. The reason everyone was upset about it was because it changed compared to overwatch 1.
As long as a new hero isn't a must pick in comp, it shouldn't matter.
@Aqua338@Meat_Robots@PlayOverwatch The $15 bundle is the story missions, 1000 coins ($10 worth), and the sojourn skin as a bonus for free.
My assumption is that, the remaining $5 value lies with the story missions. Hence i think it's $5. Hope that makes sense.
Doesn't mean i'm right, just my expectation.
