Usually because they told a teacher to f*** off, or wanted to shout throughout a lesson. ‘Clowning’ isn’t so funny when you’re trying to teach. I really wish activists taught a week in a tough school, and then see how sympathetic they were to rudeness, harassment and chaos.

Completely concur. After returning from 7 years teaching overseas, I just could not believe the amount of additional tasks schools have taken on & subsequently passed on to teachers. The ridiculous paperwork, the documents for nobody except in case of OFSTED. Let teachers teach!
