@LeoKearse@MrKennethClarke As per @olip74: "Au contraire, it's only just starting. Why has our economy gone from being 90% the size of Germany's to 70% in 6 years? They had the pandemic, they are affected by war in Ukraine more than us, they have high inflation too."
@chhcalling@BorisJohnson@Conservatives yes a leader with a proven track and we need corruption right left and centre thank you for trying to destroy the party!
@NileGardiner@BorisJohnson@Conservatives It also strikes fear in many conservatives because he is under investigation for misleading Parliament and I don't know anyone who thinks he didn't. Will this be the second time in as many months the Conservative MPs present us with an unsuitable choice?
@toadmeister I dislike him because he is under investigation for misleading parliament and no one I know questions his dishonesty. Not sure how that makes him better than anyone not in that position
@trussliz @KwasiKwarteng Great job repealing IR35 rules I will now be happy to vote Conservative this will re- energise the British small entrepreneurial spirit. One of the cornerstones of the British economy.
@juls256@paul_druce @nixseaman @Peston Highly paid unskilled jobs? Why would anyone pay highly to an unskilled employee? Currently there is an abundance of jobs though. Skill yourself up and get better paid job. It is Your responsibility. Nobody else's. I've done it. Not saying it is easy, but so can anybody else.
@BeckettUnite Correction they had to buy the company after incurring losses of 7 billion euros as it was about to collapse. Nothing to do with profiteering. But about protecting proles supply of gas.
@DeborahMeaden Don't be so political! It makes sense as long as safety measures are kept as it will increase the UK's GDP which will raise the average salary and benefits everyone. I'll be more concerned about the bankers bonuses and firing up coal stations.
Get real!
@Andrew4Pendle Are we going to get another lot of hard Brexiteers? We gave this lot a chance and look what we got. Dishonesty, sleaze and immoral behaviour. Isn't it time to go back to the centre and get some honest and serious politicians that don't try to sell you the moon? @Conservatives
@Twaterati911 @BBCkatyaadler Be honest!
The only people that did not and have not acted in good faith are the Brexit party.
We all know the promises they made.
And they signed the deal.
Don't blame someone else!
@brexit_sham I would say... 'Incredible!' However after things like changes on IR35 law which miraculous benefit companies like Infosys, which the wife and in-laws of the Chancellor have a stake worth billions of pounds, nothing surprises me any more from this Brexit team.
