Important.
Those UK journalists silent about Assange and Yemen, if they were Russian, would be silent about Navalny and Ukraine.
Power systems everywhere - particularly the media - select for obedience.
They want Assange dead or silenced forever because he drew back the curtain and let us get a view of how the world really works.
It’s that simple. Assange is the proxy but the war is on your right to know. The war is on democracy itself. Killing him is just one stage of it.
BREAKING: UK has formally approved the extradition of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to the US.
Anyone who cares about press freedom should condemn this case and implore the Justice Dept. to drop its charges. https://t.co/tEZY1Iycjc
By continuing to extradite Assange, the Biden DOJ is ignoring the dire warnings of virtually every major civil liberties and human rights organization in the country that the case will do irreparable damage to basic press freedom rights of U.S. reporters. https://t.co/kjz9tmHAfC
⚠️ Priti Patel has, shockingly, approved Julian Assange's extradition to the US.
This is what he's been up against. Please RT.

Hard to believe, but it looks real. Every serious press freedom group in the world has protested this. It is an appalling symbol of how far the British and American governments' commitment to human rights has declined.
How can we condemn authoritarian abuses abroad like this?
This is a call to Resistance:
in the last 7 years, I've been fighting a #FOIA trench warfare in #UK,#US,#Australia,#Sweden to unearth the truth in the Julian #Assange and the @wikileaks case. Please share any restricted documents you have securely here: https://t.co/PE8IRg9XZa
BREAKING: The British government has approved the extradition of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to the United States to face spying charges. Assange has 14 days to appeal. https://t.co/sC45VxqnP3
@bdquinn News is there to inform us and give us understanding, not shock us although this isn't always practice. Just because its not a shocker doesn't make it invalid is what I'm saying.
@bdquinn I'm sure, my point is that doesn't make it legal, and doesn't make the material any less impactful. Again trueisms arent admisable in court this material is. And for reference my British and American friends say exactly the same thing about their govs.
@bdquinn The same is said for the US/UK where surveilance systems have been widely reported and the same type of private business exist but evidence is key. I'm sure there are war crimes happening in Ukraine at the moment, but we need the evidence in order to prosecute. No?
@bdquinn That's interesting, when Snowden did something similar on the US people thought it was very impactful... I would argue revealing the system under the systemic surveillance is pretty newsworthy. But to each their own.
36. Mark Summers (JA's counsel) now refers to the Yahoo! investigation by @Isikoff,@zachsdorfman and other colleagues on #CIA planning to kill/kidnap JA and other #WikiLeaks journalists to show the lenght the #CIA agents were prepared to go
