@shantanujha07@sas_3343@RootFan66 Rohit is obviously a better ODI Batter than Both with Great Tournament records and A much larger sample size..Kane has fewer Tons, less avg & SR,his only saving grace is that Root fell off for a while during 2020-2024(played very few games), before he was having numbers like these
@shantanujha07@sas_3343@RootFan66 So your sole argument is that Kane being the Best Batsman of a shit line-up is the only reason he's better than Root😂(who played with Good/Great White Ball batsmen like Roy, Bairstow,Buttler,Morgan,etc).. Root's highest ICC ranking in ODI is more than Kane's
@shantanujha07@sas_3343@RootFan66 And Root's impact in the only WT20 he played is greater than whatever Kane did in plenty of Wt20s he played..Kane only slightly edges in ODI because of the Player of The Tournament he won in 2019(Mind you Root only had like 20 runs less than him there) and Some KO performances
@shantanujha07@sas_3343@RootFan66 Being a Good player in an average team doesn't automatically makes you better than a Good player in a good team.. Relative SR is a joke considering Root was assigned to play that anchor role in a lineup of Attacking players,Root has had several Good White Ball tournaments(1/2)
@sas_3343@RootFan66 You're talking about his Strike Rate like Williamson has better SR..Root could accelerate more fluently than Kane although I believe Kane has a slight edge due to him having a better record than root by a short margin
Maybe this pitch is a blessing in disguise with the weather forecast around the game,we can probably get a result due to this which probably wouldn't have been possible on a good surface otherwise this is a dreadful Track and deserves the criticism
@sas_3343 His batting has regressed but the decision to send Jamie Smith at 6 is a long term decision that they declared publicly,It isn't a "coward" move by Stokes but rather acknowledging that Smith is more suited to bat above him at present

@docmadhu82 The pitch is likely going to improve for batting later on.. It's a disgrace to even compare these six hitting contests to a rather Okayish test match pitch which was aided by Overcast Conditions
@MaataBhaarat@CricketopiaCom Yeah I was appreciating Root for it because people discredit his availability & commitment to test cricket by saying that He's played these many games only because England plays the most tests
@MaataBhaarat@CricketopiaCom Sachin was an injury prone player during the entire Mid 2000s so he missed plenty of tests in that time while Joe Root has never missed a test match in his career due to injury.. He's Only missed 2 tests out of 160+(once on paternity leave and other where he got dropped)
@CricketTragic5@JoshParkyn And after this rest he will play all three formats+ the hundred for the entire summer and probably all winter games as well until the next big time off comes which would be these two months of April and May
@Ardagul3r24@Sxree_pxcked Just watch the video of Archer's first test wicket on his comeback last summer and you'll know for which team he puts in more effort

@TH161_@timwig England have played this tournament several times in Subcontinental Conditions before as well.. Clearly they must be doing something better to have taken 8 more wickets than any of their predecessors
