Today our colleagues at @mlexguild are going on strike in protest of more than two years of negotiating without management agreeing to a fair contract. The Hill Guild stands in solidarity with the reporters of MLex US and FTC Watch.

Seeing some false reports about the man who collapsed in the Oval Office.
It was *not* Novo Nordisk executive Gordon Findlay.
It was a patient who uses Lilly GLP-1 drug, per multiple sources. I hear he's OK now.
Despite early reporting suggesting the man who collapsed in the Oval Office was a Novo Nordisk executive named Gordon Findlay, the company tells me that the individual was not someone affiliated with them.
I’ve made the difficult decision to leave @thehill after 4 years. I’ve loved so much of my time here, and feel beyond lucky to have been able to tell the stories I did alongside some incredible journalists.
I’m not entirely sure what’s next for me yet. Hopefully more news soon💛
Monarez says Kennedy railed against CDC and employees. Called it most corrupt agency, said employees were bought by pharma industry and were killing people
Some news: I took a buyout at @TheHill this week. I’ve loved my 5 years doing all sorts of things for The Hill. I am extremely thankful. Just felt like time for change. What’s next? We’ll see. I have faith that it will all work out. Open to opportunities: Msg or email. Much 💙.
We’re heartbroken to share that six of our talented colleagues were laid off yesterday. Their work has informed, inspired and held power to account. If you’re hiring, please consider them. #SupportJournalists#HireJournalists
I'm sad to say that today is my last day at The Hill, where I've had the pleasure of reporting on breaking news, national trends, and healthcare for the last (nearly) four years.
Any tips on jobs and freelance work are very welcome right now.
Some personal news: I was laid off from @thehill yesterday. It was such a privilege to co-write Morning Report for the past three years; I'll miss all of my incredibly talented colleagues dearly. Any leads for journalism jobs in DC would be much appreciated!
If you are a current or former @CDCgov staffer knowledgeable on the current state on the agency, the departures of Susan Monarez, Demetre Daskalakis, Daniel Jernigan, Debra Houry and Jen Layden; and are willing to speak, please reach out to me at [email protected] or on Signal.
Some news: Aug. 28 will be my last day at Axios.
I'm proud of the work I've done these past three years covering & breaking congressional health policy news. I'm now looking for health care & Congress reporter roles.
Please reach out if you are hiring or know of anyone who is!
@NXSTMediaGroup management is on-site at The Hill’s offices in D.C. today -- we’re standing united outside the building demanding a fair contract!
(P.S. We made more than enough copies to replace the fliers you keep tearing down 🙂)
The piece I wrote about Jimmy Carter and how his disclosure of entering hospice raised awareness of the grim but crucial end-of-life care.
