@phpstorm Why when codex, claude, and DSH (and a whole LOT of other harnesses) give way more features and flexibility? I myself have 3 harnesses I built that offer what *I* need. I think @jetbrains is missing the point - software is not a moat anymore.

@thsottiaux Dots are great but they seem nerfed. All they excel at currently is reading your email and cal, CRUD on that, and routing. It can code, but the DOT guards are overwhelming. Not great for a Chief of Staff / Jarvis (yet)

So Codex removed full access and now I need to use my own harness for more work that I have on Codex. Kinda annoyed with this Nanny-based security that Apple is forcing down.

@thsottiaux Dude, slow tf down! Seriously, I'm tired of having to scour codex settings for newest things added to enable, re-enable, perfect upon (dot rules), or setup. The vibers can't see the changes but everyday I need to eval changes and adjust. Slow down. More resets though for sure.

@RandyJinAI @thsottiaux I have agents writing a journey log that all agents check before, and after compacts, the log is for multiple agents in different threads to read and ensure same understandings. Helps tremendously.

@thsottiaux The high usage Pro's understand the 2x at cost of 5h limit is better for us. The casuals kinda just want what they want when they want it. Impatience in build time makes no sense.

@buildwithrajath 5hr limits are work-around-able. More compute? Thats free $. Give me the 5hr limit with double compute ever time. When you're doing 3B tokens a day it matters.

@thsottiaux As a Pro user running multiple concurrent AI engineering projects, I’d take 2× weekly usage with 5-hour limits. More total capacity matters more than unrestricted bursts. I can schedule around a 5-hour reset; hitting the weekly wall stops everything.

@thsottiaux @keyanzhang @sharifshameem i like the idea, but it seems... like an afterthought. I get how it's technically probably really something in the backend. But the practical landing: "me my phone has predictive text too". Seriously some things just need to be quiet improvements and this is one of them.

@thsottiaux not gonna lie, Gemini is not a great as OAI models, BUT inside Google Workspace (where it comes with it free)... it kicks ass if used right.
