🕯️ 5 FACTS ABOUT PURGATORY EVERY CATHOLIC SHOULD KNOW

Purgatory is not Hell, nor is it a second chance at salvation. It is the final purification of those who die in God's grace and are destined for Heaven.

Here are five important truths about the Catholic teaching on Purgatory:

1️⃣ Purgatory is not Hell. The souls there are assured of eternal salvation.

2️⃣ Purgatory is temporary. It is purification before entering Heaven.

3️⃣ Salvation is already assured. The souls are being purified through God's grace.

4️⃣ Our prayers matter. We can offer prayers, Holy Masses, and acts of charity for the faithful departed.

5️⃣ Heaven is their destination. Those who undergo this purification will ultimately enter eternal glory with God.
