Man’s Preference and Love for the Lie Over Truth
By Chris McCann https://t.co/rU1OPQRJps
John 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
What kind of books do people enjoy? Fiction.
What kind of TV shows do they mostly watch? Fiction.
Movies? Fiction.
What stories do we read our children as they go to bed at night? Golden books fiction.
What do we tell our children about Christmas? We tell them of the fictional character Santa Clause.
What do we tell our children about the meaning of Easter? We tell them a fictional (and very strange) story about Easter bunnies and colored eggs.
What do we teach our young people in science class regarding where the world and universe
came from? The fiction of the big bang.
What do we tell our young people about all the wondrous animals and things about them in this world? The fiction of evolution.
What do Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and all Christian churches (today) tell people about God?
The fiction of the god of their particular false religion or false gospel.
In practically every area of our society in this world there is abundant evidence to show that man prefers and loves the lie over the truth. Its no wonder that men are such liars and constantly opt for a falsehood over the things the Bible (the truth, the only truth in this world) says.
Romans 3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;
And,
John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Failure isn’t the end; it’s a mirror.
❌ Old view: “I’m not good enough.”
✅ New view: “Now I know what doesn’t work.”
How you reframe failure determines how it shapes you.
Failure isn’t final. It’s feedback.
