@NapoliTickets I'm much more supportive of an upgraded Maradona than a new stadium. The club absorbs none of the construction risks and what is likely to be significant cost overruns. The Euros deadline means the city will do all it can to finish it, and it already has metro links.
@Nirgal451 Cheating the housing system for profit. What is the preferred alternative? Just keep the supermarket without dwellings on top? I'm sure they'd be accused of land banking and speculation if they did that
The International Break is for the football purists. Watching the world play the world game one day, going down to your local non-league game the other. It puts into a spotlight the reasons why we love football: the community of the local, alongside the diversity of INT football
John Aloisi's penalty, a spot kick replayed over and over again, but we gave the man himself a new way to relive it, 20 years on... he'd never heard the ABC radio call of that iconic moment!
Peter Wilkins on the call and Andy Harper just going ballistic! 💚💛

Surely the Brownlow has lost all meaning now. Rowell 3 votes in 3 games where he didn't get a coaches vote, NWM getting 2 votes in one of the greatest individual efforts winning the game off his own back. A farce #Brownlow
Collingwood will soon speak with Steven May about the potential for the veteran defender to join the Pies in this trade period.
Collingwood is searching for defensive cover, having made the initial running for Jack Silvagni.
May is contracted for 2026 and turns 34 in January. Would add more age to the the Pies' D50, but helps keep them in the flag window.

@NPLcasual As someone who currently lives in Canberra, there was absolutely no noise or advertising of the game until this week. My football watching and playing mates didn't know the game was on until I asked them if they wanted to go (we did). Lebanon game had much more marketing
The PFA unequivocally condemns the 'March For Australia' rallies, their message, violence, and the harm they caused to Australia’s multicultural communities and our First Nations people.
