🔴 El secretario de Guerra de Estados Unidos, Pete Hegseth, lanzó una nueva advertencia al Gobierno cubano y aseguró que Washington no tolerará la presencia de actores extranjeros que considere una amenaza en el hemisferio. “Países como Cuba están advertidos”, afirmó durante una comparecencia ante periodistas en Panamá.

⭕ Hegseth acusó a La Habana de permitir durante años que actores de países considerados hostiles utilicen la Isla para realizar labores de espionaje contra Estados Unidos. También expresó preocupación por la posibilidad de que Cuba adquiera armamento capaz de alcanzar territorio estadounidense y afirmó que espera una mayor cooperación del Gobierno cubano.

⭕ Las declaraciones se produjeron el mismo día en que Hegseth reiteró que “todas las opciones están sobre la mesa, incluidas las opciones militares” respecto a Cuba. El funcionario sostuvo además que La Habana debería prestar atención a la disposición del presidente Donald Trump de hacer valer los intereses estratégicos de Estados Unidos en el hemisferio.
