To sustain our successful efforts in restoring security, peace, and stability in Kerio Valley, we are working with local leaders to empower communities and provide alternative, sustainable livelihoods.

This afternoon, I was honoured to preside over the Chepkorio Community Empowerment Initiative at Koptega Grounds, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

The initiative, organised by the County MP, Caroline Ngelechei, complements our ongoing interventions in the region and speaks to the national agenda to empower those at the bottom of the economic pyramid.

With us were Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Wisley Rotich, Speaker Lawi Kibire and Bomet County MP Linet Chepkorir, MCAs, among other national and local leaders.
