@JimmieJohnson Being part of a such a winning culture like Hendrick, how does that shape your vision for Legacy? What did you learn and what do you look to carry over that’ll contribute to building a winning race program?
@Motorsport@PitLaneCPT@Frontstretch Get Noah is “racing for points” and the 91 was “out here for fun” and shouldn’t interfere with the cup guys but at the end of the day he’s a racer he’s not gonna back down, that’s why he’s out there to win. Noah’s getting killed in anything that isn’t a Cup car.
@isleslive@stefen_rosner Sometimes changes will make themselves, meaning things need to fall into place first.
The young kids and where we sit after they come up and building around them is the bigger picture but that’s just my opinion.
@uuujason For the bigger picture, yes signing him does nothing but Isles aren’t winning anything in those 2 years regardless whether he joins the team or not so it doesn’t matter who you add. Patience and waiting on the kids then going from there is the only option.
@stefen_rosner@ReverendBobby Thoughts on a Pelech trade, Pulock makes zero sense given how thin the Isles right side is despite the high demand for RD. You just can’t justify the price tag 5 or 6 million (whether it’s Romanov or Pelech) for a bottom pair defenseman isn’t defendable.
@uuujason Darche said it himself Isles have cap they don’t mind eating and they’re clearly not using…if you’re willing to accept a year of Ondrej Palat at 6 mill to play minimal minutes with zero impact I think you can deal with John Carlson.
@PeterPiperReady Andy Greene worked well, I get it was the vet minimum compared to 10 million…but it’s not like we’re in win now mode. Have patience and let the team develop, it’s 2 years not 20. He’ll fit the timeline and will cycle out when the kids come in don’t understand how that’s bad.
@stefen_rosner John Carlson a possibility for the Islanders?
Is it the east or the metro…if it’s the metro can see Philly or Columbus in terms of actual need without seeing cap first.
@stefen_rosner With Carlson declining an extension in ANA and his preference to return to the East, I just so happen to know a team who could use a stabilizing presence at RD. Any traction behind this move and think it makes sense for NYI? 2 year deal perhaps…
@MikeBartner Would it kill you to have optimism?
Don’t get it: When the Isles have a horrible team and people upsell it as good, but when the Isles start making progress everyone’s a doomer? It’s year 2 of Darche give the guy a chance.
@FreshIceIggy97@FrankieBorrelli Pagnotta especially. By far the worst there is…don’t know why people still trust him and how he has media credentials is beyond me.
@NHLRumourReport Can we stop using Pagnotta as a source in 2026…guy is an idiot who is either wrong about 95% of what he reports or just piggy backs on other people’s reporting and sharing credit. Absolute clown…no idea how he has media credentials.
