*Memory* is incredibly interesting.
I've been studying it for a few years and hardly scratched the surface!
Here are 3 key things I've learned and what I think they might mean for teachers... 🧵
I get the impression that those outside of education, who are not involved in delivering online learning, think that online learning consists solely of live, interactive lessons delivered via Zoom to a whole class at same time. Nothing else counts.

@LadyMaher @lexautolease Totally agree. So I’m looking at ending the lease early and seems though my contracts coming to an end in summer can’t say I’ll lease again after this experience.
@LadyMaher @lexautolease This happened to me and they don’t care as it’s ‘the length of time a car may take to be repaired.’ Two weeks in my case (even though it’s faulty goods) and two different garages finally got back but out of pocket for lease and own travel.
@lexautolease not happy with the outcome of my complaint. Car in garage for two weeks and I’m still expected to pay for a car I can’t use. Meaning I’m out of pocket for £200+ Please think of how you treat your customers. Communication was poor as to upgrade needed too??

This time last year I loved teaching GCSE functions, and I'm loving it again this year! Such a good opportunity to practise substitution, solving, changing the subject etc. Draws out lots of algebra misconceptions.
I wrote a post about it last year: https://t.co/qGYRBI1OJd

So ... I will say this only once. When you see the Nov grade boundaries do not make your decisions about tiers of entry for Summer 18 based on them! This was a resit cohort only!
Here's the OCR grade boundaries for the November 2017 GCSE 9-1 resit. One thing that stands out is you can achieve the highest grade (grade 5) on the Foundation Tier with less than 50% of the marks!
