The Merrimack College athletic department on Monday announced Jeffrey Mejia will take over as the @MerrimackBSB head coach.
Mejia comes to Merrimack from Northern Essex Community College where he served as an assistant athletic director and head baseball coach. Under Mejia's leadership, the Knights were one of the most consistent programs in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) winning more than 70 percent of their games (362-154) with 11 trips to the regional championships and 10 trips to the NJCAA World Series.

The Merrimack College athletic department is taking its show on the road.
The athletic department will host its first-ever “Merrimack Roadshow” with three events scheduled this summer at restaurants and venues in nearby Andover, Boston and Cape Cod. The Warriors will be well-represented at each of the three events with men’s hockey coach Scott Borek, men’s basketball coach Joe Gallo, football coach Mike Gennetti, women’s hockey coach Courtney Kennedy and women’s basketball coach Missy Traversi all taking part.

Brian Murphy has been named the MAAC Coach of the Year after helping the Warriors finish fourth in the conference standings. It's the second time Murphy has won a Coach of the Year award, the first during his tenure at Merrimack.
