@SatoriVerdure@paulsaladinomd We are letting the free market hash it out through iteration. There's nothing wrong with that. And there's nothing wrong with Elon building a flying car either. My point was just that it doesn't improve people's lives nearly as much as research in biotech does, that's all.
@SatoriVerdure@paulsaladinomd I'm going to ignore the ad hominems in your argument that distract from its lack of substance.
What advantage does this technology have over quadcopters for UAVs?
@kunchenguid This is one of the best takes on this subject I've heard. Do you think accessibility drives more engagement because people start to think more about the product that they would pay for? I wonder if espresso machines get people more interested in trying out coffee shops etc.
@SatoriVerdure@paulsaladinomd Not all tech advancement improves people's lives. Biotech? Sure. Flying cars? Not a whole lot.
If anyone besides Elon made this flying car, it wouldn't get nearly as much traction and defense from other people.
@mitchellh The problem is most people can't even tell what's AI generated and not AI generated. Hell, sometimes I can't even tell.
Also, right under this post I saw another post talking people through how to make viral AI generated content lol.
It blows me away sometimes how smart and creative people can be. I never would have thought of this.
This concept can fundamentally change how we use code. It makes it moldable, mushy. You can turn code into AI now.
My dear friends, I’d like to show you my latest toy project

@SOMAMadman@brivael Thank you for pointing this out. People outside America don't understand it. And voting Democrat, if anything, will slow the country's destruction, not speed it up.
@ogwithsauce I hear ya. But if you make a lot of money and sell your business for enough to retire on, that's freedom. I know a guy that worked a blue collar job and on the side he started a fencing business that got to 400k/year.
