BREAKING NEWS: Karl Ravech is set to be let go from ESPN after 33 years for working there. Ravech started as a sports center anchor and quickly developed into the lead play by play announcer for Sunday night baseball up until last year when NBC took the right to SNB. Sad day.

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza has been fired. Andy Green to be the interim manager for the remainder of the season. This move is about 2 months late but still very important. Steve Cohen needs to speak to the media because I can’t listen to David Sterns and his logic anymore.

Huge game tonight on Sunday Night Baseball where the Mets play in Philadelphia for the rubber match of a 3 game series. Peterson Vs Wheeler.
Feels like a huge series for the Mets to win. It’s getting late to turn this season around. Next week the Mets play the Cubs and Phillies.

Kodai Senga is returning to the mound tonight against the Reds. If the Mets want any chance at turning this season around then they are going to have to hope that Senga will be the ace he once was.

The NFL has given ESPN a really great schedule. Good to see the NFL give Buck and Aikman a packed action schedule ahead of ESPN’s first Super Bowl. TNF on prime definitely has better matchups than last year. I believe SNF on NBC may have been given the short end of the stick.

What a fantastic start to the month of May it has been for the Mets. 3-1 so far. Today’s game against Denver is scheduled for 9:20 PM with Peralta on the bump. It is currently snowing in Denver however it will stop at 12 PM. Going to be a very cold night.

David Sterns has announced that the Mets will not part ways with Carlos Mendoza anytime soon. Instead, Mendoza will be given the chance to execute a dramatic turnaround with 131 games remaining. Mets Vs Angels starting tonight. Let’s get this ship rolling.

Mets win for the first time in 12 days!! Vientos made up for his base running mistake by giving the Mets a 3-2 lead in the 8th thanks to a bloop single. However Lindor left the game with calf tightness. He will get an MRI today.

Juan Soto in the Mets lineup tonight batting second and he will be DH. Hopefully this can get the Mets going and win tonight. Clay Holmes on the mound. 7:10 ET at Citi Field

After an 0-6 road trip and an 11 game loosing streak, the Mets are headed back home right now. They are scheduled to push back from the gate right now and arrive in LGA at 8:41 PM. Gate is TBA.
