Cleaned today. Have been in a funk for the past couple of weeks. Can't say I feel better but I just got tired of feeling down. It would be great if I got some funds to order some late night Dinner so I ain't gotta mess up my newly clean kitchen
For those that have reached out so far and have helped THANK YOU! Still in need of some help clearing this balance as well as carfare and groceries for the week. Anything helps. Thanks

One thing about Black folks, we gonna pay a compliment that sounds like an insult. Especially with music.
Weโll call something nasty, say itโs disgusting, say it made us nauseous.
But everybody understands exactly what we mean.
And when we hear a beat that goes, we gonna look like you violated a health code. Like something STANKโฆcause thatโs the funk in us.
For Day 15 of the #BlackMusicMonthChallenge, share the beat that makes you scrunch your face up every time.
Before rap crews, record labels, entourages, and corporate empires, there was the DJ and the MC.
They were the original dynamic duo of hip-hop. One controlled the music. One controlled the crowd.
While DJs and rappers don't always come packaged as teams the way they once did, some of the greatest music in hip-hop history came from an MC and producer whose styles fit together perfectly.
For Day 14 of the #BlackMusicMonthChallenge, share a favorite song from your favorite MC & DJ/producer team.
Right now still need to lean on others financially. Need help getting my checking back current, train fare, and groceries for the week. Anything helps. Thanks.

As New Yorkers both within and outside the boroughs are celebrating the triumph of our Knicks I feel like stirring the pot. Let me see actual New Yorkers that like "Empire State Of Mind"? As it has aged I def feel like it has become the Gentrifier Tourist Anthem
6 years ago today Oluwatoyin Salau was a unhoused young woman who joined the Black Lives Matter protest in Tallahassee, Florida. A man sexually assaulted her and subsequently she would go missing after she spoke up about it via Twitter. Her body would be found days later.
Good night
Sleep tight
Don't let them bed bugs bite
Know that I love you very, very, very, very much
And I'll see you in the morning
Amen
Amen
Amen
And Amen
