In 2021 you had a real life Western separatist party running against *Justin Trudeau,* and all you could muster was 29 candidates from the absurdly named Maverick (formerly Wexit) Party, who collectively won 35,000 votes. 🤣

That’s 0.21% of votes cast.

You won fewer votes across the West than a typical MP wins in a single riding.

And what happened to your party?

Like the countless western separatist parties before it, it folded like a cheap suit.

With apologies to Monty Python, it’s now a dead party.

It is no more.

It has ceased to be.

It’s bereft of life.

It rests in peace.

It’s is an ex-party.
