𝗔 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗔 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

For a child at school, access to clean water can mean the simple things; washing hands before a meal, maintaining personal hygiene and staying hydrated.

At St. James Buuzabalyawo Primary School Kawanda in Wakiso District, @rotaryd9213 is helping make these everyday essentials more accessible.

1. Through its WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) initiative, the @kampalaDaybreak delivered a water tank to the school, to help improve access to clean and safe water for learners and teachers.

2. The club also conducted general and 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, equipping pupils and teachers with practical knowledge to promote better hygiene, health and dignity at school.

On behalf of Zyren Dental Spa, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to making the Bamutakudde Dental & Medical Outreach Camp a success.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the leadership and residents of Bamutakudde, particularly the LC1 leadership, for welcoming us and supporting the initiative.

We are equally grateful to the medical and dental practitioners, volunteers, partners, sponsors and well-wishers who gave their time, expertise, resources and support to make the outreach possible.

WE BUILT A HOSPITAL IN A VILLAGE.

Yesterday was nothing short of amazing.

We hosted a massive free health camp for the people of Bamutakudde and neighboring villages in Kyampisi Sub-county and the turnout was overwhelming.

Over 700 people turned up: the old, the young, women, men. Over 50 medical workers volunteered their time and skills. We had free consultation, testing, treatment & medicine for all

For one day, we had a real hospital in our village:
- Reception, waiting area & triage (BP & temperature checks)
- General Medicine desk
- Dental clinic
- Lung & Respiratory desk thanks to Makerere University @Lung_Institute
- Gynecology desk powered by @naggalamahosp
- Lab testing (blood tests), HIV/AIDS counselling & testing thanks to @Rotary_Bukoto
- Prostate Cancer screening
- Ultrasound / Imaging scans
- Pharmacy : Free medicines given out
- Eye Care Clinic free eye checks & free glasses powered by @HAPAUG01

I have never seen our community so happy. My heart is full.

Thank you to @Alahai256 and @NewtonAllan6 the team leads, every doctor, nurse, lab technician, volunteer, partner, and mobilizer who made this possible. You gave our people the gift of health.

A big thank you to my village team for the making this a success. Team, we did it.
