Picked up On The Set of Resident Evil 2 the TV Commercial by @normancengland and could not put it down! Really encapsulates this moment in horror, in games, and in mass media through the lens of George Romero’s Resident Evil 2 commercial. Don’t walk, shamble to get this book!
RE (1996), is like a Lucio Fulci or "Dawn of the Dead" Romero era movie. The score, stale atmosphere, character beats, voice lines etc.
RE (2002), is a sanitized modern take, something along the lines of the awful "DOTD" (2004) remake. Or that dumbass 28 days later movie.
TONIGHT @ 9PM EST Tony from @HacktheMovies joins The Dumpster Boys as we dive into PROTEUS (1995)! Do you remember this flick? Come hang out tonight and we’ll see you in the chat! 💚📼🦈
It’s been a while since I last talked on YouTube about my 50+ year love of George Romero’s films, but tomorrow I’ll be live-streaming on Alpha Romero! Hope you can join us!

@LetmeLive236 Yeah. I mean, I adore the original (96') and very happy with that lore. The extra stuff added for remake is a bit too much for me but yeah, personally, I don't care about the sequels at all. RE1 is where the buck stops for me.
