Learning to walk with Christ. I know! Sometimes it might feel like He's nowhere to be seen, right? But He's always by you side. Some ask, I'm a Christian but I still find myself going back to my vomit - help me!" Others, How can I be saved? How can I rest assured?
A THREAD 🧵
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
"Their conscience has been seared with a hot iron" from 1 Timothy 4:2. Describes hypocritical liars whose moral compass is dead, insensitive, and unresponsive to truth, similar to skin cauterized by a hot branding iron. Guys who no longer feel the convictions from the Spirit.
My advice to those who have church hurt is that the church is a gathering of believers who're being cleaned by the Blood of the Lamb, some are hypocrites, they pretend to have been cleaned, but haven't - by their actions. Don't focus on the people, Concentrate on Jesus!
Someone liked an old post of mine, I was reading it in my notification, and I was like, "This tweet is speaking sense 😅" Not realising it was one of mine.

@polo_kimani Hollywood has managed to program the masses that marriage no longer works, they feature a divorced couple in every movie/ series, making it seem normal to leave rather than solve the problem, also, how we all get married, they programmed the masses on that as well.
“And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Luke 5:31-32 KJV
Galatians 5:16-18
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.
There’s no way you’ll study the Word, pray, and actually sit with Scripture that your life won’t change. The Word transforms you. It sharpens your discernment. It makes you wiser. It makes you better.
