In today’s @GibChronicle , I explain why modest, focused investment — like our peer small nations — offers a far more sustainable path than chasing a white elephant that could undermine our progress. Gibraltar’s football future is about grassroots
Bit of a long shot, but worth asking.
We are part of a consortium looking to take over Manchester 62 FC in Gibraltar and stop the club from disappearing.
The club was founded in 1962 with the blessing of Sir Matt Busby, and its Manchester United connection is a huge part of its history.
Right now, we are trying to reach anyone connected to Manchester United or the wider United family.
Former players, ex-staff, foundation contacts, fan media, supporters’ groups, club partners - anyone who may know the right person.
We are not expecting Manchester United to swoop in and save the day.
We just need help getting the story in front of the right people.
If you can make an introduction, offer advice, share the GoFundMe, or point us in the right direction, it could make a massive difference.
