@Ericka_Weathers Wife kept getting the no sim error, until her phone eventually stopped working all together (while she was out of town). Went to Verizon and they swapped her current SIM card for an electronic one, which is apparently standard now. Said lots of people are having the no sim issue.

Biggest challenge Twitter alternatives have faced is a lack of concentration of key brands/voices. Everyone seemingly scattered to a half dozen different sites, many of which were invite-only or clunky. Threads is already over that hump. Every brand is seemingly opening up shop.
