Forward Josh Davidson completes his move to Edinburgh CFC.

Josh leaves the club having first arrived on loan from Dalkeith Thistle, going on to make his stay at the Hotspur permanent across the 24/25 season turning in some excellent performances in the clubs push for promotion.

As Josh departs, we’d like to take the opportunity to thank Josh for his contributions alongside his family’s support of the club. Wishing Josh all the very best with his new club. 💙

We’re pleased to confirm that Liam McIntosh, Willy White, and Josh Davidson will be part of the squad at New Moor Road for the 2025/26 season. 😍

Liam joined the club in September last year and unfortunately endured a season plagued by injury. A man with huge experience across the senior leagues, Liam is a hugely important player amongst the squad and will be looking for a successful season in Division 2. Looking sharp in the most recent pre-season friendly, there are clear signs that Liam can get back to his brilliant best.

Willy enters his 6th consecutive season at New Moor Road. A real handful in the wide areas with a knack a healthy goal return, we look forward to seeing Willy push on and contributing to what we hope is a successful season for him.

Josh - the big man is retained for a 3rd term with the Hotspur. A top performer on his day, Josh will be looking to make his mark and battle for one of the starting berths amongst the forwards.

Everyone at the club wishes the lads all the very best for the campaign ahead. 👏

29-year-old winger/ striker Andy Watson joins the squad at New Moor Road for the 25/26 campaign. Having concluded his age-grade football with Bonnyrigg Rose, Andy had spells with Preston Athletic and Arniston Rangers before a period more recently with LEAFA clubs Tranent, Hunterfield Vale and Greenlaw in the BAFA. From all at the club, we wish Andy all the very best for his time at New Moor Road.

"Andy was open to coming in to train initially and it was clear to us after just a handful of sessions that he was more than capable of a return to the senior ranks. There is a definite hunger there which is great to see. Andy has looked sharp from the off and has been a standout in both the training and game settings and we are genuinely excited as a management group to see what he is going to bring to the group over the course of this season. He has offered us something different in the two friendly games he’s played and it was great to see him getting on Saturdays scoresheet with a tremendous finish from distance. Welcome to the Hotspur Andy."
