@pigskin_frenzy Tech jumped the gun on Hammond's recovery timeline because the Sorsby deal went south. Originally wasn't suppose to take a snap until W3. Tech is playing with gasoline and needed a contingency plan. Enter Castellanos.
@LuxWade@JarheadFrog Point is that Tech didn't develope him. He was a premium purchase which instantly gave them an elite pass rusher without needing three years to develop one. I don't have a problem with the money Tech spends on players. But call it like ot is.
@texastechevry Texas Tech only signed up for this because it is August and they literally have no other choices. Under any normal circumstance, he represents the exact opposite of what a modern, championship-caliber program looks for. QB3 at best!
@LuxWade@JarheadFrog Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire explicitly stated that having elite talent makes it easy to look like an incredible coach. We will never know is right.
@DoubleT_WreckEm You are correct. The loss to Ohio state last season didn't keep them out of the playoffs. It was a blowout loss to Georgia and getting beat by unranked Florida. However, I do wish the Manning boy well! Although he couldn't hit the side of a building at times last year.
@JarheadFrog Castellanos is 5'9". Offensive will have to adjust. A tier 2 QB averaging 3.1 seconds to throw which is longer than you see out of tier one qb at 2.5 seconds. He has excellent scrambling skill and can throw the deep ball but makes a ton of mistakes which is costly.
@JBMAGA03 These meals are rare and reserved for special occasions like holidays. Most of the time they eat regular cafeteria food. Not sure why people are under the illusion that they eat this at every meal.
@_learnskills Interesting. Wonder how long they last. I know that tires on your car eventually start to crack on the sidewall. But these tires would work great for a hail storm.
