Never had more #anxiety over an #election than I do this one. I’m honestly not sure who I hope wins. Both are awful in so many different ways.

@JesseCrane@speedwaywarrior@Kenny_Wallace I’ve read most of your replies to the OP. If you aren’t a Trump voter you certainly hide it very very well. You spout Republican talking points like you attended a lecture and took lots of notes.
@JesseCrane@speedwaywarrior@Kenny_Wallace First, I’m not your bro.
Second, you keep using the same I’m rubber your glue argument. It doesn’t work like that.
Third, you are wrong again.
The only agenda doctors & scientists have is to prevent unnecessary deaths and injuries. They don’t care about your vote.
@JesseCrane@speedwaywarrior@Kenny_Wallace The old “you’re rubber, I’m glue” argument. Should have seen that coming
You seem to be confused.
The President is a politician. You are listening to him about Covid.
Doctors & scientists aren’t politicians. I listen to them, and only them, about Covid.
@JesseCrane@speedwaywarrior@Kenny_Wallace That’s 2,000,000 people that will die in the US alone.
Long term issues impacts 20% to 35% of people. That’s 66M to 115M people in the US alone. Kids and the healthy included.
No one expects fear from you. We do expect you to listen to scienctists & doctors. Not politicians

@itsginnydi @nightlytiefling We should have implemented mail in voting years ago. We should now be moving towards digital voting. Neither of those is possible to move to quickly though. The idea of nationwide mail in right now is super appealing, but it’s not really practical.
@itsginnydi @nightlytiefling If only it worked that way. Building infrastructure and processes into the system does not happen that quickly. Just the technology needed to implement the changes necessary are monumental. I support mail in voting, but rapid deployments almost always fail.
@itsginnydi @nightlytiefling You can’t even get towns or cities that are next to each other to agree on computer systems for law enforcement or fire communication. Getting 40+ states to all upgrade their systems in months is impossible and just asking for problems.
@itsginnydi @nightlytiefling Especially when government bureaucracies are taken into account. There is no way to quickly roll out nationwide mail in voting without causing many issues that would be much worse than any voter fraud. It could actually cause the opposite, mass disenfranchisement.
Not every one can claim to be the slayer of Dungeons & Dragons. That should be on every business card you ever make and every email signature you ever send.
