Among the almost infinite number of reasons why salary caps are awful is what we are witnessing right now with Jason Robertson's VERY public negotiations with the Stars. In a salary cap world, salaries have to be public so fans can understand why a team might make the moves it makes. Ideally, no one should know what anyone makes and we watch the game. Now every player is judged based on his salary.

Annual reminder that either the US Open or PGA Championship should be played somewhere outside of EST every year. Having all 4 majors with early tee times sucks. Thankfully, next year the US Open will be PST (the best time zone) and the PGA will be CST.
