Thank you to #RUSCI#DCIM students for sharing how our minor program helps develop peer leadership skills! @lauraopachinski @mjstone21 @arshi433 @JoshHM19@mrnesi https://t.co/ZFjcdnnNfT
A huge part of leadership is shaping how others perceive you and taking advice from your peers is a great way to improve your image as a leader. #ThePowerofthePeer#LIDCS18
My final personal mission statement is to never give up on learning. I chose this because in the field of IT there are always disruptive changes. #LIDCS18
A piece of advice for students looking to communicate effectively through hashtags is adding something meaningful to each tweet you respond to so you can engage in a genuine conversation. #TXC18
@alisonnmelendez Attending hackathon events is a great way to learn new skills and connect with people that have the same interest as you. Being an ITI major myself, I realize how important mastering coding is. #TXC18
User Experience Design is an industry that represents my professional interests.
UX designers enhance the user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product. #DCIM353b#TXC18
One hobby that represents my personal identity is web design. Creating and customizing websites is a passion of mine that I enjoy doing in my free time.

A movement that social media made me aware of was #BlackLivesMatter . Their mission is to campaign against violence and systemic racism towards African-Americans. #DCIM353b
Making an infographic for a class final project is one way I have been able to create content. Piktochart was the disruptive technology that allowed me to do this. #DCIM353b
@alisonnmelendez I agree that this is a key to success at Rutgers. It is difficult to stay focused if you decide to do work in an unproductive environment.
@vivianru2018 Finding the right community is important for success at Rutgers. With over 450 clubs and organizations I truly believe that there is place for everyone to feel comfortable.
@Twong2277 I agree that talking to an academic adviser is essential when you first come to Rutgers. Setting up your schedule can be very confusing and without my adviser I would have been overwhelmed.
@JoshHM19 I like your graphic! Reducing as much stress as possible and preserving energy is crucial to having good mental health. I think Rutgers should stress the importance of time management for students more and maybe even set up workshops! #TXC18
The best tip for finding success at Rutgers is managing your time wisely. There are so many clubs and events on campus that it's easy to lose track. Although it is a challenge to balance everything, eventually we all figure it out. #TXC18#dcim353b
@Simratvir_RU The buses represent a huge part of the culture at Rutgers. Every student and even some faculty use the buses to get to class making them essential to life on campus. #DCIM353b
@katherineb_hill There is no doubt that Rutgers students/alumni are very passionate about being Scarlet Knights and this game day photo portrays our pride. #DCIM353b
