Yo @netw3rk come to San Antonio and I’ll make a portrait of you for the pod with @SheaSerrano. I’ll buy one of those old megaphones that cheerleaders use and you will be yelling HELLLLOOOOO into a microphone with it.
@themollycox@COSAGOV Really I wouldn’t be so mad if they gave us a timeline and didn’t just point the finger at someone else. I’ve already had someone at VIA reach out to look into it after they saw this post.
After dealing with construction for 4-5 years off Broadway the city has closed off half of our parking. Now we’re getting parking tickets if you are even close to the sign. Businesses are closing monthly because of this construction, parking tickets don’t help that..
Don’t even mention the grants that they have for the construction because if you are a photographer, your tax code is not eligible because you are in the arts.
@notorious_jod They blame it on VIA transit, because the buses can’t make the turn. But I haven’t seen anyone working on this corner for over a month, I’m here everyday. They aren’t even making progress.
On top of the poorly managed construction projects serving as a daily reminder of their embarrassing incompetence, the city is now using a noticeable increase in Parking Enforcement patrols to punitively fine business owners and more vulnerable long time residents of District 2.
