Denver gave homeless people $1,000 a month, no strings attached. A year later:
*45% secured housing
*Taxpayers saved $590k because of fewer visits to the hospital, jail and shelters
*People used the money on groceries, rent, hygiene, clothes and transportation
*Mental health improved and they could spend more time with their kids and grandkids
Amazing what happens when you give people a chance
@KsScanner@JohnnyQuest785 I know it's not the case, but it seems like you don't want to say it and you know you shouldn't because racism. Again, I know its not the case, but some will interpret it that way. Just trying to help.
@jdsteel2022 @evmyers1978 @JustVent6@tedcruz You proved my point. The book you use to support your position is one that only became controversial when it was banned from a high school where parents could already choose the books their kids weren't allowed to checkout.
What was it in k-3 that necessitated the bill?
@jdsteel2022 @evmyers1978 @JustVent6@tedcruz Well it's possible I don't have all the info. I'm always willing to admit to that if it's the case. Show me you didn't just use "inappropriate sexual content in grades k-3" as your example because it's the least likely to be questioned.
@jdsteel2022 @evmyers1978 @JustVent6@tedcruz You have to believe all the crap about the "inappropriate sexual material" and the worst-case speculation from fear mongers like Desantis, Cruz, Rubio, etc. emboldened by Trump.
These are the people Fox news is admitting to lying for. Think about it.
@MadawaskaMuskie@MayaofAK@ScottAdamsSays Looks like I was blocked by that person. Typical.
I wonder if people like them know how weak it makes them look. And how it just confirms that they would rather believe the lies, aka "alternative facts".
@J_Donduan @TweetyMcranter @slevin75@Benjamin7_4@mmpadellan@SpeakerMcCarthy Fox news was determined by a team at Yale to be the least informative "news" network. They just withhold stories when they might be bad for Republicans. They pushed a lie for Trump that almost ended America as we know it. How is that reflective of you? You Russian?
@SpeakerMcCarthy Pursuit of the Truth!!!! HA! How do the worst of the worst of Republicans say these things out loud? It's fascinating, embarrassing, and depressing all at once.
You deserve to know the origins of COVID.
You deserve to know why the DOJ went after parents.
You deserve to know why American lives were lost in Afghanistan.
Your Republican majority is in pursuit of the truth and will hold this administration accountable.
@MayaofAK@MadawaskaMuskie@ScottAdamsSays Well, when you deny the science, you've made up your mind. When you believe doctors who lost there licenses over the hundreds of thousands of doctors who haven't, you've made up your mind. You don't want the truth.
@MayaofAK@ScottAdamsSays I only know of extremely rare blood clots from the J&J vaccine. It's far more common to develop blood clots from an actual Covid infection. Unfortunately anti-vaxxers never seem to look into the risks of the illness that the vaccine is meant to prevent.
