@AlewXRP@BIS_org Lol ask yourself, WHY would they test for “data” on the xrpl if they weren’t planning to use it for settlements in the future? They have other chains for data in that case. It was testing data THIS TIME, but eventually the XRPL will be used by the BIS for settlements too
@cbusfritz@TheCryptoSquire I’m not disagreeing with you that this one particular case is for data, but even you would admit there’s other chains for that. My point is they will eventually use it for settlements too, if not they wouldn’t even bother because xrpl isn’t a data chain it’s meant for settlement
@cbusfritz@TheCryptoSquire This is cope. Why would they even bother testing on the xrpl if not to use it in the future? The XRPL will be used for international settlements

@TheNode_Network So then why even use the xrpl? What’s their endgame? They aren’t using canton… it’s obvious they wouldn’t bother using the xrpl at all if they didn’t have plans on heavily integrating the XRP settlement rail in the near future
@TheNode_Network@Xfinancebull Once again it doesn’t “mandate” that xrp be used but the exposure along with the option to use it is the key. Are you saying they “can’t” use xrp or aren’t “allowed” to? That’s the way your statement comes across and that’s not accurate at all.
@TheNode_Network But you guys main position is that “XRP doesn’t do anything” and “no institutions are adopting it” so this goes directly against your thesis that only retail speculation can drive the price up. When it comes to treasuries and the derivatives market that will feed back into XRP
SEC declares Evernorth registration statement effective ahead of planned Nasdaq listing
The ripple:native treasury firm said that the SEC declared its Form S-4 registration effective for the planned merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. Armada shareholders vote on September 30, and the combined company would trade as XRPN if the deal closes.
Evernorth (@evernorthxrp) plans to deploy its treasury across the XRP ecosystem, with investors including Ripple, SBI Group, Pantera Capital, Kraken, and GSR.
@TheNode_Network No one said they “have to” but it can be used. You don’t “have to” use uber you can use a taxi if you want but who does that? Once institutions have the choice based on regulations, they will choose to use XRP. Speculative but so is thinking btc will pump or canton will pump high
@TheNode_Network Even if this guy is a fraud, that is not a good reason at all to be bearish on XRP. Bitcoin is just as speculative if not more and it’s highly more volatile and expensive right now than XRP, Brad wouldn’t have been in the white house at all if his coin was shit
@Gucci_Clarity@SMQKEDQG@TheNode_Network That’s the only criticism I have of them. They’re not btc maxis BUT, they rarely if not at all admit that any optimism about bitcoin is PURE speculation and doesn’t meet their criteria. But in debates when people mention bitcoins flaws, they say to stay focused on XRP
@TheNode_Network I don’t understand the criticism. It’s not a security! But that’s more of the SEC regulating it to make sure they aren’t committing securities fraud. But ripple WILL benefit from XRP when it goes up. To act like ripple doing good is bad for xrp is incorrect. It’s not a security
