I am beyond blessed to announce my commitment to continue my academic and baseball career at VCU. Very thankful for this opportunity. None of this would be possible without God, my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who has believed in me along the way. #GoRams #GodsPlan

Uncommitted ‘27 Josh Perez threw to a few hitters the other day (we start 1-1 & only FB/SL). Big arm talent & plus sweeper. Stud

Will be a big pickup for a program— playing at PDG next year @JoshPer11039866 @PDGABASEBALL

Effectively wild. Battled traffic in the 4th but otherwise eliminated damage. Multiple Ks off the SLV that showed feel to both halves.

FB: 90-92, T93 (X1)
SLV: 77-80
CH: 82-84

‘27 Matthew Kane (King George)

Mostly FB’s early in this one, sitting 84-86 T87-88. Slurvy breaking ball at 73-74. Compact frame w/ some strength in lower 1/2. Will be one to watch.

After a very short relief outing on Friday, ‘26 Josh Perez gets the ball for #MidAtlOpen semis.

Control settled in 2nd. Mostly FB/SL vs RHH. Easy velo.

⚡️⚡️⚡️
Absolutely electric FB from the physical RHP. Ball jumps out of the hand sitting 90-92.⚡️

Worked a quick three up three down inning to close out the game.
11 pitches, 5 swing and misses.

Loud stuff here from #Uncommitted Joshua Perez (‘26,VA) this morning at the #Super25Coastal. Sturdy RHP worked heavily in the low-90s (T94) throughout his 5IP & punched out 9 along the way. FB explodes out of the hand & ellicts tons of S/M due to lower release height. Showed ability to manipulate the baseball w/ heavy 2FB in the 88-90 mph range & ripped off firm SL up to 79 mph as go-to secondary.
