Shocked and saddened by losing such a great husband, father, friend, and role model for so many young men. Amir had such a big heart and shared his love of life with so many people. I’m thankful I was able to spend a year with him at Georgia Tech. Rest in peace my friend.

The Kansas-Arkansas exhibition game is an outgrowth of Dayton coach Anthony and his wife, Chris’ efforts to support mental health awareness and the Jay's Light foundation they started in their daughter's memory.

It started with Dayton and Ohio State last year, and is now up to three games:

Xavier at Dayton on Oct. 20

Ohio State at Cincinnati on Oct. 18

Kansas at Arkansas on Oct. 25
