The Trump administration has killed more than 200 people in boat strikes, yet we know almost nothing about who they were or the lives they left behind.
Our @AJFaultLines team traveled to St. Lucia and Colombia to find their families and investigate what happened.
Crazy that this is getting barely any coverage. This year’s European Press Prize was just awarded to an investigative report by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. It is entitled “What the Wounds Tell” and in it the journalists Maud Effting and Willem Feenstra document the cases of 114 children in Gaza under the age of 15 who were struck by a single bullet to the head or chest. Almost all of them died or were left severely disabled. They chose to document only the cases of boys and girls under the age of 15 (though often much younger: aged 3, 4 or 7) because these are children who can be immediately identified as such. “A single bullet in these parts of the body is a clear indication that these children were deliberately targeted“, the two journalists write.

A democratic party autopsy of the 2024 election has reportedly concluded that Kamala Harris lost significant votes due to the Biden administration's war on Gaza.
It's something many warned @AJFaultLines would happen in our film "The Return of Trump": https://t.co/O7XcxxPFbU
Senior corespondent @Joshrushing is asking people in New York City who they’re voting for in the mayoral race.
He found that people are either voting for Zohran Mamdani or against him.

@AJFaultLines latest tells the story of the pediatrician who stood against the Israeli army for his patients. Dr. Abu Safiya was abducted Dec 2024 & remains Israel's hostage with more than 100 more healthcare workers from Gaza https://t.co/bSTjJGMUbU
A senior #US Senator says ‘Palestine is a made-up fiction,’ denies famine and genocide in #Gaza, and calls the world’s top famine experts ‘left-wing clowns.’

@NMBMDUS@EYakoby InTheodore Hertzl's "The Jewish State" there's a section titled "Palestine or Argentina?" So the father of Zionism acknowledges there was a Palestine & that a Jewish state could be placed in Argentina. I suppose then we would need to debate whether Argentinians ever existed
Please watch this, bear witness, hold screenings with friends and family if it’s too hard to watch alone. All of this is being done with US weapons. We can’t simply look away.
So many people have told me that they can’t watch this film because it’s too upsetting.
If it’s too hard for us to watch this, imagine what Palestinians in Gaza have been asked to live through.
So embarrassing for Little Marco (Trump’s words) to argue that the U.S. is so fragile that a grad student’s opinions are a threat to its foreign policy goals. How far we’ve fallen. https://t.co/tkCGxAq1hR
