This evening I’ve had *the* most amazing fun lock-in rehearsal for my recital at @wabbey tomorrow. Duruflé Suite sounds fantastic on this instrument 🎶 Cannot wait!
Joshua Stephens from Winchester Cathedral will be giving a free organ recital in the Abbey at 5pm on Sunday, playing Duruflé much-loved Suite Op 5.
Everyone is welcome and there's no need to book: https://t.co/JObNxLE8Xl
*Apologies, niche organ post*
Is it just me or is this piece criminally underrated? Just had a superb evening starting this from scratch. While perhaps not on many people's top ten Howells lists, it's quickly becoming one of my favourites! #howells#organ
