With a lot of work behind the scenes from Josh's care organisation & his MDT, i @phillwills went to his house & cooked him lunch. #AutismAndCovid19 isn't a great mix but his team have been fantastic. Thank you everyone for continuing to get him through. #Autism#AutismAwareness
@cj_dinenage hi Caroline. I hope you are well. I'm @phillwills I'm dad of Josh Wills. I met you & told our story @mencap_charity last year when you were minister for care. May I ask why took over from you? All the best. Phill.
@DimensionsUK@BairstowLiam Wishing everyone the best. Hope all are well. Josh continues to get through this with the help of his carers. Stay well. From @phillwills
@JoshWillsWorld Join us in thanking actor and 2019 Leader @BairstowLiam for his support for the Learning Disability and Autism Leaders' List. Like him, we can't wait to see lots of wonderful entries 🥳🤗Please enter, nominate and share #LDALeadersList https://t.co/AoDNhNseQn
On this #CarersWeek2020 I want to say a huge thank you to Josh's carers & all carers. You are his family.Your love, dedication & commitment will never be forgotten. #AutismAndCovid19 does not mix, but you keep him smiling. One day we will visit again. Love always Josh from Daddy
Thank you to Josh's wonderful team for these pics. #AutismAndCovid19 isn't a great mix & we are so glad Josh has carers to keep him busy. Thanks in advance to @itvwestcountry for their piece this evening at 6pm & their dedication to Josh & all with Autism. #StayHomeSaveLives
#BBCBreakfast@BBCBreakfast@BBCBreakfast I felt the statement from Boris was muddled & unclear. my Son Josh who has severe autism with a learning disability lives in his own home with carers around the clock, but the carers don't live there. It's an unprecedented worry.
Still going on. Josh was sent away from Cornwall to Birmingham in 2012 aged 12. He returned 3 years later ages 15. Only after media & public pressure. Promises were made 8 years ago & yet more & more are still awaiting those promises to be carried out. @phillwills Josh's Dad.
This felt like one of the most important things I've ever written. On the incarceration of people with autism & learning disabilities: a national scandal which is still ongoing. Brought to public attention by @ianbirrell , also big thanks to @RightfulLives https://t.co/ARV3GlgIjr
@benshephard this is my Josh. We enjoy watching @TippingPointITV every Tuesday when we have our curry night together! @phillwills (dad) Josh was 260 miles away from age 12 to 15 in an ATU. We fought hard to get him the care he has now close to home in Cornwall.
@katsladden@vicderbyshire We told Josh's story a couple of times on this wonderful caring programme. I hope the bbc @BBC_HaveYourSay change their minds. This program has given a voice to many autistic and learning disability families who wouldn't normally have a voice. @phillwills proud Dad.
@waynecrocker2 @ciarale01 @mencap_charity@sarah_gordy I believe @RoyalFamily used this image as the cover image. It was a great event and an honour to attend on behalf of Josh.
