I realized that when some girls say they want a "God-fearing man," it's not because they fear God. They say it to protect their own interests, especially when they know they have an underwhelming past.
For instance, a lady who's been involved with many men will want a God-fearing man who can be manipulated to believe that her past is in the past and also to forgive and forget because God is forgiving, and anyone who fears God must also be forgiving.
You will likely see them in churches praying for God-fearing husbands, and one hero will think he's found the bone of his bone because he saw her in a church and assumes she must be clean.
He won't know that her preference for piety isn't because she's God-fearing herself. Rather, it's to shield herself from her man's scrutiny of her wild past (that is, if he even gets to know) and, of course, to shield herself from future promiscuities because such a man will be clueless and will make a perfect victim for cuckoldry.
Religion has always been a tool for manipulation.
The game is the game!
