@Alienware I had a few in mind, the genre of the game would most likely be survival or horror. With that in mind, the three-game franchises that are obvious to me are Resident evil, Silent Hill, and Outlast.
One underrated franchise, respectably rated and overrated franchise!

@RStarUniverse GTA 5 took a revolutionary game and slapped enhanced visuals etc over it but excluded the absolutely gorgeous soft-body physics of each vehicle in the game, along with hilarious ragdoll physics. This is just scraping the ice of a game that revolutionised TPS/Open World games!!!
