Please read and share my op-ed published this morning in @USATODAY. We need a thoughtful and comprehensive Congressional solution to address the overwhelming economic challenges and fundamental brokenness of the NCAA. These two issues seriously and immediately threaten women’s sports, Olympic sports, and all college athletic departments - both big and small. The SCORE Act, as currently drafted, doesn’t do enough, and will only serve to guarantee that programs are cut, opportunities are lost, and communities are irreparably damaged.
