As much as I love football and as fortunate I have been to play, I owe God for all my successes and coming as far as I have given the circumstances of my high school career. I have been blessed in so many ways over the course of the past 4 years, it's time for me to give back.

I've been asked a lot about this, so just to clear things up I am serving a mission. I will receive my call in June and leave in October, I will return in 2025 and start college in early 2026. I will be playing football when I get back, whether as a walk on or on scholarship.

Cody Mauch was a 0-star recruit out of high school and had ZERO division one offers.

Mauch decided to join North Dakota State as a walk-on TE.

Mauch entered NDSU in 2018 at 234 lbs, but by 2021 he weighed just over 300 lbs and took on the role of starting tackle.

Over Mauch's entire college career, he played 836 pass blocking snaps and allowed just TWO sacks.

Now, Mauch is on the cusp of potentially being the 2nd NDSU offensive lineman selected within the first two rounds of the NFL Draft in program HISTORY.
