Awful service from @rigexpert, I gambled on the new MATCH analyser that currently has few reviews online, I contacted RE before purchase regarding upgrading licenses they gave me wrong information, 2 weeks and 10 emails later theres no responsibility taken and no resolution! 🤬

@rigexpert @m0cvo Your mistruth before sale and after the strike caused the situation. The discount mentioned meant I'd be paying £50 more than the non discounted fee? £90 to upgrade but £140 with discount?
Warning to others that wish to buy upgradeable tech where you can be held over a barrel.

@rigexpert I symphonise regarding the awful attack, when I enquired before purchase you didn't inform me there would be a wait to upgrade, you said whenever I'm ready! If I knew that I would have pushed myself and upgraded the license immediately when I purchased this €500 + euro device.

@m0cvo @rigexpert There's been response we've had 10 emails back and forth over a two week period. However I've recieved no satisfactory outcome, I enquired before purchase and the information I recieved was incorrect. They've not done enough to correct this.

Little bit of FT8 off the balcony this morning in Tenerife, with a very compromised random wire strung between two chairs and a bit of tuning got me contacts into Europe and my home country the UK, using 5 watts.
Further activations as the week goes on!

@M0KPH Hundred percent agree, it should be optional, as noted people have paid and passed exams to achieve their callsigns, to have that then removed against their will seems wrong!

Reissuing of callsigns that are previously known to have been used is crazy. I can think of no end of problems, There may be a QRZ page, eQsl, Lotw, SOTA, POTA set up and in use for that call requiring endless emails and admim requests to correct.

2. Someone may not call you on a particular band or mode thinking they've worked you already on that band or mode.

3. Creates problems getting a DMR or YSF, D-star ID as they may have been issued already and needs additional support to correct.

There's lots of problems.
