@heraldscotland Dean Banks is an absolute bampot. @heraldscotland I hope these claims have been substantiated because it’s more than likely his restaurant revenue is down 60% because they are terrible.
What in the hell is this! “What about the white working class boy? frankly I’m proud to be that working class boy from a “pit village” my grandfather was a miner at Big K, I saw first hand the devastation of the community I lived in as a child for decades following the miners strike at the hands of the Thatcher government. What I won’t allow is @SuellaBraverman to cosplay supporting “the boy from pit village or girl from a coastal estate” under the banner “what about working class boys?”
“The boy from a pit village and the girl from a coastal estate are not privileged. They're among the most disadvantaged in our country. And it's time that our politics, our schools, and our laws treated them that way.”
Brilliant speech @SuellaBraverman at #CPACGB26#CPAC
In the last few days I have seen an abhorrent amount of quite frankly vile comments towards women from men hiding behind keyboards online. This isn’t a new issue, however, the glorification of division, hatred and glorification from the far right especially when high profile figures endorse people like Andrew Tate is certainly amplifying the issue. It’s mind blowing to me that in 2026 we even need to be having this conversation. 🤯
With 16 @ScottishLabour MPs being given government jobs, on top of record funding for Holyrood, 100,000 Scottish kids being taken out of poverty, energy bills cut, workers’ rights boosted and shipbuilding backed, this is clearly a Labour government with Scotland at its heart.🌹🏴
Today we remember Alice, Bebe and Elsie, and hold in our thoughts their families, loved ones, the survivors, and everyone whose lives were changed forever by the devastating attack in Southport.
The courage and strength shown by those affected, and by the wider Southport community, continues to inspire us. We stand with them today and always.
@JebAndor@UKLabour@youngenterprise@KingsTrust@93percentclub We also have (and have had, now qualified) several apprentices and trainee programmes within our own businesses. So hopefully the largest employers will support this scheme and will invest in the future of their workforce to enable this to be achievable.
