I write about anime! PR Campaign Executive who loves Pokémon and is a massive Mari Okada fanatic. He/Him. By-lines at Anime UK News, Crunchyroll, HeyUGuys.
I've been paying for the domain for years, so I've finally linked it to a portfolio website, tying together all the various threads of my life.
My PR work, my writing across anime and gaming, and maybe even fiction - all together at https://t.co/2xPpH6MPHT
Keir Starmer isn’t perfect, and I disagree with his government on a number of key points. However, the recent machinations of Andy Burnham and Labour is precisely the circus that we wanted to escape after 14 years of the Tories.
Keir Starmer is the first Labour Prime Minister in the era of social media, and we know how much influence right-wing and antagonistic foreign nations have on social media discourse, and how that ends up legitimised by a media that act more like PR firms than journalists.
If Keir Starmer does resign, history will look back on his reign and scratch its head as to why the hell he was so hated.
On paper, he's probably delivered more to working British people in such a short time than any PM for decades.
After inheriting an absolute mess: NHS waiting lists fallen. Worker's rights improved. Rail operators nationalised. Improved relations with EU and improved UK's global reputation. Removed non-dom tax status. Halved childcare costs. Boosted state pensions. Lowest homicide rate in 50 years. Lifted 550k children out of poverty. Immigration vastly reduced.
We are in the age of billionaire funded misinformation, whose sole purpose is to topple democratically elected leaders, and insert leadership that favours the wealthy elites over the working people. Looks like the game plan is working...
I don’t complain about bad luck in #PokemonChampions often, but Dire Claw putting 3 of my Pokémon to sleep and paralysing another does sting - especially when the game was still close!
Serebii Update: Pokémon Champions has added multiple new pieces of music to the game for players with the Membership
Includes songs such as Battle! Jacinthe, Battle! Canari from Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Battle! Gym Leader from Pokémon X & Y

I’m pleasantly surprised how well #PokemonChampions runs on my iPhone 13 Pro. After a few battles this morning, my battery life also seems to be holding up well.
I wish some menu buttons were a bit bigger, but otherwise, it’s a really solid experience.
Really loved what the #MyAdventuresWithSuperman S3 premiere did with Kara. She and Jimmy are precious, but using her experience with Braniac to figure out that Bizarro wasn’t raised as a weapon was a really nice continuation of her arc.
Happy to have this show back.

What could the #NewBandaiTCG be?
This week’s ReZero was SO tense and unsettling, but I couldn’t look away. By far one of the best episodes of an anime I’ve seen in a long time.
This season as a whole has been truly phenomenal.
"Hi, I'm Yoshiaki Koizumi. I'm going to log onto the internet this morning to see what people are saying about yesterday's Nintendo Direct. I hope everyone's hap-oh."
@JoeMerrick Yeah, those are my thoughts too. There were probably only a couple of games that really appealed to me, but I recognise that there was a lot of stuff for other people. Heck, I know one guy who was over the moon about Ninjala 2!
Hear me out: Nintendo might pit Ocarina of Time against GTA 6.
It's arguably the only game this year of a calibre that could stand beside GTA 6, and they're releasing on different platforms anyway. So, it's more like GTA 6 has scared away any other competition.
